OCES and DGFS Training Schemes
OCES (Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates & Science Postgraduates)
OCES is a one-year residential training programme conducted at BARC Training Schools. After successful completion, candidates are appointed as Scientific Officers in various DAE units based on performance and organizational requirements.
DGFS (DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme)
DGFS is a two-year scheme under which selected engineering graduates pursue an M.Tech programme at approved institutes. During the course, candidates receive stipend and fee reimbursement. After completion, they are appointed as Scientific Officers.
BARC OCES DGFS Eligibility 2026
Educational Qualification
- Engineering disciplines: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) or Integrated M.Tech with at least 60% aggregate marks
- Science disciplines: M.Sc or Integrated M.Sc in relevant subjects with at least 60% marks
